Box Hill is one of the most multilingual electorates in Victoria. The 2021 Census records that more than half of Whitehorse residents speak a language other than English at home — Mandarin, Cantonese, Greek, Italian, Vietnamese and Hindi among the most common.

The six languages above were chosen on the basis of the 2021 ABS Census for the City of Whitehorse, where each of these languages is spoken at home by a significant share of residents. Translations are short, idiomatic campaign phrases — not literal renderings of the English. They have been reviewed with native-speaking community members in Box Hill.
